So basically there is no solution to the decline of Western civilization and British culture in the UK in the foreseeable future. So the only advice would be what? Emigrate to the USA if you can?

Pete North's avatar

I did not say there was no solution. Just no party political solution in the interim.

Surely in our democracy there are only party political Solutions and if there are none of those what Solutions can there be apart from Civil War or emigration?

Increasingly, the left vote tactically to keep out Reform who they see as evil incarnate. The various left faction overcome their mutual dislike to stop Reform.

The right does not see the left as evil incarnate (though they should) and so does not vote tactically, preferring to remain in their tribal silos.

It is this difference that risks a Labour or red green alliance in power after 2029.

Reform and the Tories should stop talking about each other. Both should focus on the evils of socialism when, hopefully, voters realise the importance of getting rid of Labour and so vote tactically.

There was a chance, a small chance, that a right-of-centre party would return, but after Mother Theresa and Fat Al it was too late.

A remarkably Fuentes-like position. Seems right to me. And I forgive your earlier calls to give the Tories a chance. That was nothing less than pragmatic. It needed to be done. It failed, but not for trying.

Yay, that idea that the Conservative party has to be destroyed leaving no conservative option for conservatives to vote for. Welcome to Peter Hitchens world.

Reform are scumbags with no idea, Restore are slightly less scummy but still harbouring scum in their ranks. I reject both of them.

I hate doomerism, it's not realistic like its proponents believe.

There is no real conservative option for conservatives to vote for. The Badenoch party is a party of managed decline.

I really disagree on that one. There's a small hope of competent government with them, none with the others and no one's forming a credible conservative alternative. As was said of the Sea Harrier to the Phantom jocks, "this is what you've got to work with."

Pete North's avatar

There is no possibility of competent administration from the Tories when the mission brief is "repair multiculturalism". You cannot repair that which never worked to begin with, and especially not now we've been invaded by low IQ third worlders.

Mismanaged Decline. Indeed Grade D in Maths Mismanaged Decline.

I don’t think we can wait until post 2029 or whenever the next GE takes place. Burnham couldn’t be clearer about ushering in PR voting which will render voting pointless ironically as we succumb to left wing coalitions. I agree with Pete’s analysis of where we are apart from Restore offering a workable deportation solution. I’ll be giving Reform a chance.
