Yes to that platform. Why aren't all parties standing on it already?

What an excellent "intellectual foundation". I would love to see these specific, but broad, aims, gain some traction, along with the demands of THA. Great work that mustn't just be left here.

“… you also need some kind of sponsorship/patronage from within the politico-media sphere to get any kind of recognition and momentum.”

Once elected, whichever party wins at the GE it will need the backing of the Globalist Elites to survive and they’ll be wanting something in return; the same something whichever party is in power.

“We have no serious policy thinkers to speak of, nobody thinking in terms of long term strategy, and nobody with the money to break a new venture …”

The Globalist Elites do have an intellectual foundation, do have a long-term strategy, and do have the necessary incentivisation money.

Very much my thinking lately but put far more elegantly. I do like 'Reform circling the drain'.

Sunak's Cabinet, unpopular mainly because they try to be popular - with a voter that will not vote for them.

Our politics is like the boy's school playground I remember. Some kicking a tennis ball around, some playing handball, a few smoking behind the bike sheds, little gangs making up passwords and shibboleths to exclude the unwelcome. Europe has been like it for years.

For such elegance though, one word is missing. Leader. Not on the syllabus. There can only be one hero at a time. Now they are handed out like charity lapel stickers. People who ride bikes and play guitars get knighthoods; those who were in the right place at the right time for long enough end up in the HoL.

Two more have added their names to the list to water down the plethora of the divided, Matt Goodwin and Dominic Cummings. Both of them no doubt bullied at school. Perhaps it is time to find a bully.
