Having seen on YouTube some interviews of the typical voters from Gorton and Denton, it’s unlikely that they will be examining the policies in any detail. They vote on self interest or sectarian grounds. Their level of knowledge about anything is practically zero.
Pepper Spray! Jesus wept, I despair. Although if the Green nutters win the by-election, then maybe there is hope for comedy policies after all. Looking forward to your Denton critique!
..and they did. I'm picking out my place in the nearby woods and the tree on which to put my solar panel for when David Paulden kills all farming and destroys what little is left of affordable domestic power - to save the planet, of course!
Fair play to the Green nutters, they've now mobilised the Muslim/immigrant vote who we can well imagine love Hannah's concept that people without work should still have a nice life (paid for by those that do).
This all seems eminently sensible advice. I hope it will be taken seriously.
The Restore brand has potential but needs substance that goes beyond the superficial, regardless of how appealing Lowe’s authentic presentation and vision comes across to many Brits (myself included), not to mention the many people in other countries who have sat up and noticed.
It’s very easy to make sweeping, constituency-pleasing claims about what Restore will do in government but these claims are invariably destined for ignominious failure unless they are properly weighed up in terms of political feasibility, strategy, cost, and all possible pitfalls taken into account and planned for.
Sorry, Pete, but I've said before that I find your use of the word 'slop' to describe the Parties' thinking is in itself 'slop'. Describe what it is, for goodness sake.
And all you do is ever criticise what these people come up with, mainly without any positive input on your part. It's easy to criticise and much less easy to contribute positively.
It really doesn't matter because, demographically, it's far, far too late.
All we can do is minimise our personal prospects of suffering from Third Worlders by choosing where we live, which is why White Flight exists.
Spot on, Pete.
