I feel excited reading this- there is genuine hope for this country if Reform (or other) can present a plan like this and actually mean it. The current crop of politicians is so dismal that if a group with real vision start campaigning with sincerity that they're working FOR the people I think they could really start a movement. It seems like a mountain to climb but we're reaching a time when there is no other choice, the word revolution comes to mind

Inject this into the veins of the electorate. Something to vote for, rather than merely voting against, if at all. I feel like Tim Brooke-Taylor of The Goodies during one of his patriotic moments.

My word this is good! Thank you, Pete!

Yes, well thought out and clear. I do hope that Ben Habib is paying attention. If so, Reform has a real chance.

If there was an election tomorrow, NOTA would get my vote yet again, but with this ....

I commend the cerebral nature of this piece. Very well thought out. I hope that Reform seriously considers this. Reform may just be a last chance before the UK goes into serious disarray, with chances for serious civil and ethnic conflict. I may also add that Reform has an eventual duty not just to itself but to Britannia to systematically remove the mass migrants and their descendants. The UK is blighted in a most horrible way by the sheer dysfunction brought on by the waves upon waves of freeloaders, criminals, and attitudes held by descendants of the migrants. Tony Blair really screwed the pooch, so to speak, but his evil must be undone. Those drains in the UK must not be allowed to continue.

More of the brilliantly insightful analysis we've come to expect from you Pete.

One particular soapbox issue of mine ATM is the pernicious impact of the excessive power of political parties - especially since the legacy parties have all morphed into barely distinguishable wings of a single uniparty. Your proposal to better separate the executive from the legislature would help, but would have limited effect if the executive still consisted of people representing the same party. IMO we need specific constitutional changes to ensure more independents are involved.

"and the outbreak of war in Ukraine, politicians in the EU and the UK have doubled down on their worst ideas."

So true. You'd think the Ukraine wake-up call would have lead to a frenzy of on-shoring, capability building, & maximising food production... but no, quite the contrary.

“What’s needed is a restoration of National Democracy, and to reassert the democratic will over the international rules based order.”

Supposing a party pledged to the restoration of National Democracy were voted into government, how far do you think this party would get with its mission to overthrow the entire international rules-based order?

About as far as PM Liz Truss got with her political ambitions before the Globalist Elites pulled enough strings to kibosh them; to kibosh policies unfavourable to the aspirations of the Globalist Elites…?

Truss screwed up, by not getting MPs' support before launching her policies.

A party will need sound policies & competent people behind it. That, sadly, is where Reform will struggle. Farage is good at playing the clown, that was OK when his role was to annoy the EU's "Good & great", OK when he's playing at the chap down the pub. Serious politician? No, he's just one great Ego.

Tice? No idea even who he is.

The Lib Dems built their power base in local elections, how many seats has Reform contested today?
