Had enough yet?

Some people are just useless to society. There are degrees of usefulness. As a political blogger I’m somewhere down the bottom, but on a very basic level it’s instilled into me not to cheat, steal or kill, and despite my flaws I’m still possessed of certain social graces that allow me to participate in civilisation - even though I generally choose not to.

Civilisation can just about tick over even with a surplus of useless people. Just look at Scotland. But it ceases to function when there is an abundance of useless people, who couldn’t contribute to society even if they wanted to - who have little grasp of the language or the culture or the unwritten rules. The sort of things that we are no having to encode into pamphlets for recent arrivals such as reminders not to shit in the street and rape women.

What is absolutely terminal for society is when those individuals are led to believe they are owed a certain standard of living, and they don’t have to contribute something to the society they live in.

This is what produces the low level criminality and anti-social behaviour that eats at a society like a cancer. Ordinarily we keep a lid on it through enforcement of public codes, with prison as a deterrent. That model is quite successful, but only to a point. It is contingent on the majority still being able to contribute, behave properly and add value.

When that ratio begins to tilt in the opposite direction, you get more or less what we have now, where public order is hanging by a thread, and can disintegrate at any moment, just as it’s doing in France right now.

Where it gets especially dangerous is when you have a surplus of feral men with no skills, no essential worth, and a believe that anything that isn’t nailed down is their for the taking. Any society built on a model of social trust in the public domain soon collapses.

We’re seeing the beginnings of this where the basic model of food retail is becoming a thing of the past, where prime cuts of meat and cheese are held in security lockers. That’s how it starts. Then you see the frightening dynamic of third world men loitering outside nightclubs, waiting like hyenas for a stray to wander lose of the herd. Or worse, loitering around schools.

There is no real work for such people. At most there are menial low pay service jobs, which are entirely contingent on disposable income - meaning that there is increased competition even for this work in a shrinking economy. Their only other avenue is organised crime. That’s where we’re at now, and it’s happening in broad daylight under our very noses.

That’s when they join gangs and compete with each other for territory, and this is how marginal districts turn into no-go areas even in the daytime. Throw in a dose of religious extremism and sectarianism, and soon you have political fiefdoms and the sort of rampant corruption that turns no-go areas into outright slums, where refuse is no longer collected and piles up in the streets. Squalor.

Soon after, the streets are occupied by foreign gangs, many of whom are at war with each other. This is how we lose the cities, and soon after the towns and suburbs. This is how a civilisation quietly dies.

There comes a point where no social policy or welfare programme can turn it around. You cannot assimilate the unwilling, much less civilise the uncivilised. You have two options. Permanent civil unrest and third worldism, or remigration. For native Europeans this is now an existential matter. Do nothing and die, surrendering civilisation to anarchy and squalor, or step up and take back what is yours.
