Historically there is plenty of supporting evidence that we are in the last stages of national decline during what Sir John Pasha Glubb in his essay called 'The Age of Decadence."

One particular characteristic of this 'Age', apart from the obvious moral decline, is that political leadership is very second if not third rate.

Ed Milliband is a classic product of this, a man consumed by his own importance, ignorant of all the facts and detail and finally consumed by cosmetic virtue signalling and group think.

It is his ilk who will be accelerating our descent into hell in a handcart.

Completely agree.

This is an exceedingly dangerous path to embark upon and there cannot be any way in which the various governmental departments and bodies charged with implementing this do not know the implications and consequences of doing so.

I don’t believe in an overarching conspiracy or a malevolent, hidden hand behind this but it increasingly difficult to to think that there aren’t deliberate, insidious & powerful forces intentionally trying to destroy, not just the the UK, but any country that used to stand for freedom and liberty.

Millband may be an unwitting tool but he is a very dangerous tool.

OK, we're scared, now what?

I would rather prevent the disaster that has to precede THA and thus make it irrelevant, if there were any way of doing that. The WEF are right that democracy is declining. We do not have a viable parliamentary Opposition.

But without reform of the system of governance, that's not the electoral system, strong Opposition or not they are still working in a broken system that doers not deliver real democracy as being of, by or for the people.

Miliband is clearly a very stupid man and is either a fool or a hypocrite of the highest order as he’s forcing this green nonsense onto the public and dismantling our oil and gas industry at pace and yet he doesn’t even drive an EV himself! You couldn’t make it up and this is Labour after one week.

I’m looking forward to your energy manifesto! The ills arising out of the climate change act are numerous and grave for Britain. It needs abolishing in its entirety.

The Milliband brothers are detached theorists who are the offspring of another detached theorist. As such practicality, common sense and a rounded view of issues based on a mixture of study and real life experience has never been a part of their lives. Now Ed has a ministry with no idea of how life actually functions.

You would have thought we would have learned from Miliband's great destroyer

The Climate Change Act 2008

We also thought we had got rid of Red Ed in 2015

< “What makes Miliband especially dangerous is that to make the case for his fantasy "green" grid, he will actively sabotage nuclear, gas and oil.” >

As I see the situation:

Milliband is a WEF (part of a tier of the Globalist Elites’ (GEs’) hierarchical pyramid) puppet. Each western nation state will have such a representative.

That the human race needs to change course significantly in order to live more sustainably with nature is, indeed, paramount.

But the way the GEs are conducting this transition looks as if their motivation is more allied to gaining World Domination than it is towards “saving the planet” as they would have us believe.

The following WEF link:

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2022/07/green-energy-transition-democracy-economy/

Actually states:

“Two global crises have come to a head – climate change and the decline of democracy.”

And:

“Collective action on a green energy transition is thereby not only good for the climate but also vital for protecting democracy.”

< ”He [Milliband] has a limited window of opportunity and will do all he can to exploit it, even if that means abolishing any local democratic input.” >

But, as stated by WEF (see above), collective action on a green energy transition is … vital for protecting democracy.

Uhm.
