Restore Britain seem to be in hot water with much of the British press today in the wake of Charlie Downes’s remarks about Israel committing “genocide” against “Muslims”.
It’s so disappointing to read this about Restore. One can be a nationalist without having to hate other ethnicities. Nations can remain distinct in their culture yet cooperate with other nations. I don’t understand why the far left and the far right hate the Jewish people so much.
I strongly believe in defending Jews against antisemitism and I support Israel. I’m also disgusted by how anti white and anti English our society has become. I think we need both ethno-nationalism and civic nationalism and decency towards integrated minorities can still be offered as well.
So why is there this idea that ethno-nationalists have to hate Jews? That’s a German idea, not an English one.
They're for the most part man-babies whose political opinions are shaped by the fantasy and scifi they read. They refer to the UK as "The Shire", reference 40K and have esoteric discussions about how the Galactic Empire were right all along (ignoring its massive incompetency issues). Lurking behind the scenes is the execrable Neema Parvini and his malevolent theories.
There's always been a touch of the Sieg Heils about Downes: One imagines he has a little black book of names who will go up against the wall come the revolution. As for Connor Tomlinson he's a strange mixture of Civil War Roundhead puritan and Catholic restorationist. There's a sub-group in Restore who have named themselves after Cromwell and occasionally refer to Lowe as Lord Protector. They're all fantasists and Reform are con men and spivs. Maybe the solution to uniting the Right is ejecting all of these weirdos.
I’ve just been in a conversation with a Reform supporter about Nigel in 2023/24 saying it was impossible politically to send back all illegal migrants (and it not being desirable anyway).
Yusuf said they Would send all illegal migrants back.
A fundamental difference in their policy.
I suppose we should be grateful that most politicians don’t disagree in public, so confusing - and then get sacked if they do?
Well at least our politicians don’t get assassinated if they disagree like they do in Russia with Putin!?
Then again Anne Widdecombe’s death is still to be sorted?
