I said at the time of Kruger's direction that any Reform policy document he produces won't be read by Farage and Yusuf. And Restore's ideas seem to revolve around the fixations of Right Wing podcasters: Esoteric philosophers, Oliver Cromwell, trad-Catholicism, ethno-nationalism...

I can only repeat that the silent majority will only get off their backsides when we are at rock bottom - I give it 10 years.

When the time comes we must DEMAND these reforms to our governance and democracy, turning our politicians into our servants instead of being our masters, or nothing will ever change.

It depends what rock bottom means. I hear of balkanisation. Will there be a functioning state? Who would make demands of whom?

Niall Warry's avatar

I'm not thinking Balkanisation but more, as Professor Betz forecasts, serious civil unrest/even civil war resulting in the silent majority exerting their demands on the government of the day.

Correct. But who do you think would win? Please support your thesis with demographic facts and projected statistics based on current movements of migration.

The Chartists got five of six demands enacted by convincing politicians to support them in parliament or ultimately lose their seats.

If the 'people' sustain their demands for the THAs demands then they will eventually come to pass.

& thats why we're not going to be able to vote our way out of this

Pete, what makes you not a Social Democrat? You seem to believe in more state intervention than the Thatcherite rip up all regulation brigade. Which SDP policies do you have issue with?

SDP leans too heavily into socialism and subsidy. Meanwhile, I don't believe an active state is incompatible with conservatism.

'we will still be the largest ethnic group in Britain, and that will be the case for a long time to come.'

That may be true (although with the amount of British emigration I'm not so sure). However, the 'largest ethnic group' will have been brainwashed by the left-leaning institutions (Donna Rachel) and will not have a clue about Great Britain's true historic values and culture. After all, you can't blame the 'black' or 'trans' issues on the muslims. They deplore the 'trans' movement as much as we do. What the younger generations won't see is how they are disadvantaging themselves by adopting this 'British' value of tolerance. Tolerance will be the death of the true white Briton. We may be larger in numbers but our grandchildren will believe the nonsense they have been taught and with which they have been brainwashed. Prove me wrong. Please.

I'm not sure that Restore or Advance are organisations at all. Reform has enough organisation to be leading in the polls and win elections, which is pretty good.

As Pete wrote:

"Will Gilpin ... lasted all of eight months, resigning by "mutual agreement" in August 2013, after famously likened his attempt to manage the party to "herding cats". "

I've seen this over and over again, over many years, from the beginning of UKIP, on. Farage sees any attempt at management as a threat to his personality cult, so the 'threat' is thrown out.
