We've been played I'm afraid. After Farage abandoned UKIP, I had a niggling suspicion that he is an establishment double agent. What has happened with Reform in the last few days confirms it.
The plan all along was to split the Tory vote and to get Blair back into government with his dullard stooge Weird Karma as his puppet PM.............with a huge unassailable majority.
And once again, they played their hand perfectly and duped the British people into self destruction.

Interesting thought.
If, as you now believe to be the case, Farage is an “establishment double agent”, mightn’t that suggest the establishment wanted Brexit?
If so, why do you think the establishment wanted Brexit?
< “I think he was bought off (blackmailed) post Brexit” >
I must admit, I wondered whether he’d been “bought off” prior to the 2019 GE to withdraw UKIP candidates in selected constituencies in order not to weaken support for Tory candidates in those constituencies.
He was bought off before this, he was a willing player in the destruction of the greater threat, the rising BNP. Farage is a media created entity which is why they did so well this time.
Interesting but on closer inspection, utter bollox. A 60 year old man with a bad back, dashing about the country, Boston, Skeg, Clacton, Ashfield, bobbing up and down on the Channel. All to elevate a known narcissist has been weirdo, Blair. Neither bloke is that relevant and I'm damn sure they couldn't be bothered. Or do you think they are lizards in disguise?
You're wasting your time here, we all are. Write a book. You clearly don't lack imagination. The dull witted will lap it up. They still think Hitler's alive in Buenos Aires. Oh, sorry, forget I said that.
Multi-millionaire Habib said some particularly stupid things even for Reform just before the election and didn't get elected making him extremely vulnerable to the heave-ho. Farage found a new guy with plenty of ££ so he grabbed him, flattered him and put him as chair. Farage then waved goodbye to Habib having previously also rinsed and then pushed aside multi-millionaire Tice. Don't forget Farage had the gall to discredit both Tice & Habib by saying the party had been badly run until he arrived back in position. It was the money of Tice and Habib and their energy which kept the ship afloat for the years before as Farage wafted around bigging up Trump etc. The new chair will be safe until he starts asking questions and/or his financial generosity dries up. Farage is a self-interested pirate nothing more nothing less. He has no credible skill or track record in governance, he brings no resource to the party other than hot air which rarely stands up to scrutiny but he loves being the centre of attention, plays the media beautifully, and he loves spending other people's money. Reform won't make it to the next election Farage will though, but in what capacity who knows? Not even he.
I would like to say to Ye Olde Sausage Machine that these people are simply not that clever. They are vain paranoid egotists who could never work together for more than a nanosecond. Thanks
Well said Pete. Remember Douglas Carswell? His relationship with Farage didn't survive very long and he was UKIPs only elected MP (Mark Reckless lost his seat)
Pete - I don't get this last bit of the penultimate paragraph?
"but if Farage doesn’t, and he retains his iron dictatorial grasp on the organisation, there will be no movement that can withstand the departure of its leader. It will evaporate as fast as it rose."
I of course totally agree after 10 years in UKIP, lastly as Office Manager in Birmingham, that Farage is incapable of leading a party as he is mainly a one man band surrounding himself by sycophants and in it for himself and what he can get out of it.
I think what Pete is saying, if I can be so bold, is that under Farage, it is difficult to build a coherent organisation as that is seen as a threat to the dictator. I saw this in UKIP. As Pete put it, you have to be part of the worshipping gang, not part of a well formed, almost stand alone, local organisation.
Sadly, that is Reform's very weak point but time will tell
I still don't think Farage is a serious politician in the 'political' or administrative sense. He doesn't seem to have grasp of or interest in policy, making friends in useful places and forming a voting bloc. He is a superior speaker and enormously charismatic figure however which makes him the most successful politician for decades. I think we are going to have to wait for a Caesar for a good while longer I'm afraid.

"Huge unassailable majority". Of seats.
That's all they need under our rigged system, whether we like it or not

That still doesn't explain this bit IMO.
"there will be no movement that can withstand the departure of its leader."
Farage will remain leader of Reform come what may IMO so what does this mean?
Collapse is inevitable?
🥱 your usual Pete

John Bull doesn't write public policy!
Reflecting on old animosities, could not your visit to Ben have been seen as a provocation His Holiness?
I did wonder whether this and the later criticisms of Reform, and Habib's negotiation with TUV might have helped mark his cards.
Once some of Reform got into Westminster it was clear there would be change in job roles. He didn't get elected and this sounds like tantrum.
Ego damaged more than anything.
