Lowe, in particular, seems to have thrown himself into too many issues and committees that it is not surprising that that Restore Britain is plundering daily into stupid mistakes.
And the younger contingent have yet to learn the politicians craft of talking out of both sides of their mouths at the same time. If they are in it for the long haul, and it will take several years, then now is the time that they need to sit down and work out a strategy with goals and objectives. This is Business Planning 101, and I don't get the feeling that they have one. It's the Silly Season, so stop going on television, get together, and work out a plan that shows what you are trying to achieve and when.

Binary thinking is lazy thinking. The world is far more complex than any 'I don't care' sort of position can adequately cover. Look at John Cleese tweeting, in response to a Telegraph article about BRITISH Jews, "You shouldn't have a British newspaper editor who is such a propagandist for a foreign country. It's THIS country that he needs to be concerned about." Well, John, it's THIS country that the article is about!

This failure to articulate the obvious then enabled the BBC to vaingloriously publish the interview as though it had given Lowe a good spanking. They didn't, but Lowe came nowhere near to giving them one.
I just think that Rupert Lowe and his sidekicks have only just entered the Patriot Arena and that's why they say things wrong, miss points and genuinely get things muddled up, like Britain/England etc, So although I believe their intentions are good they need to learn what it's all about because there are many bad actors waiting to seize on every opportunity to undermine the whole movement as we are seeing daily.

That's not exclusively a Restore problem. Seems a tad unfair to single them out specifically for their lack of intellectual rigour and coherent policy. I remember a time when the Conservative party wasn't socialist and the Labour party actually gave a tup'ny fuck about the working class. The entire current political establishment is a towering monument to incompetence, avarice and corruption, infested with the sort of slackjaw-halfwits, grifters, mafioso, fashion-victims, psychopaths and all-round bottom-feeders that could never command a comparable salary from the private sector (outside of their beloved legal profession, obviously).
The PhDs in maths and physics don't go into politics (or science, for that matter). They're all quants in some hedge fund, hoping to be living on a yacht circling Antigua outside primary countervalue targets, retired on an inflation-semi-resistant high-yield portfolio by age 35. No cure for cancer, ever-lasting light bulb or innovative economic policy in our lifetimes, I'm afraid.
