I certainly didn’t make any friends with last night’s post. There’s been a flurry of protest over on X about it. I have not yet seen a fully formed rebuttal though. There won’t be one either – because it is a fact that the Slop Right in its current form is not capable of forming a coherent, stable government. The only party of the right that could is the Tory party. That’s not an opinion, it’s just a plain fact.
While I can never bring myself to back the Tories while CCHQ and their donors remain the same (therefore their policies and empty promises will remain the same) you did land a punishing upper cut with this:

For me it was their imposition of tyranny and massive economic damage in response to a bad case of the sniffles and their complete betrayal of not just their own voters but the British people in general on mass Third World immigration.
If Reform put in as much effort in their policy making than they do in hurling abuse, lies and publicity stunts then maybe they'd be doing better. They've prioritised destroying the Conservative party over being a party of prospective government which means they're not in it to help the country but instead to carry out revenge for past slights.

I don't disagree with your observations. But to me, the point of Reform or Restore is the 'None Of The Above' option. If Reform were to get a majority, they'd screw some stuff up, but mostly nothing would change. But they would definitely attempt big changes in well-defined areas (e.g. immigration and Net Zero). Whatever they did in those areas would be an improvement on what the Tories and Labour have done in those areas. I doubt they could screw up governance in other areas more than Labour or Tories have done.
The other aspect is that having Reform and Restore threatening to take votes from all of the existing parties means that the Overton window moves. We can see that with what Badenoch's doing to Tory polcy regarding Net Zero. So an important function of Restore/Reform is to cause the existing infrastructure to actually do what the populace want, rather than lying and/or ignoring them (as they've clearly done with immigration and Net Zero). Reform/Restore don't need to obtain a majority and form a government for that to happen; it's happening now. And it's happening without them putting time into well-thought-through policy documents; maybe those sensible policy documents isn't the function of Reform/Restore, right now.

If it is a matter of voting, I would work out which candidate here is most likely to vote against Labour in parliamentary divisions. This would include being able to win the seat, in the first place.
