Defence trade with Israel has risen by an incredible 10000% between 2023 and 2025 largely under Labour. This ranges from drones and drone technology to the Trophy defence system for our Challenger 3 tanks to primary steel for new destroyers and equipment for the infantry to improve their survival chances in conflict. In return we sell parts for their fleet of F35s. If we refuse to sell those, the US will see us as a very unreliable partner and that will be that for our air defence industry. I can’t believe that Miliband doesn’t understand this.
Anyone would think that history is not littered with endless examples of nations defending their borders or even conquering and occupying the land of hostile neighbours so why just because this 2026 is Israel considered differently.
One reason our governments, but mainly Labour, condemn Israeli actions as and when they feel necessary is to shore up the Muslim vote in their constituencies.
Such politicians are despicable, weak and ignorant and put their own self interests above the interests of our country.
I recently learnt there were two Christian settlements in the area (I didn’t know there were any) and they had been attacked by people from Israeli settlements.
I don’t know why the Israelis have done this but ive also heard that Christians visiting places of faith in Israel are also being targeted.

Imo there's no particular reason why a British government should care about the West Bank. This is purely about sucking up to Muslims.

That is surprising considering the number of Holy Land tours carried out by churches.
