Absolutely right. What will it take for people to realise that we have one of two outcomes: neither of them as a result of democratic voting.
It's probably a very good idea to suggest your own citations to AI, as you did.
I'm normally in research mode, and asking for information alongside the relevant references. I have not yet been given a matching pair.
The info is usually right, but the cited paper is generally not even in the same field.
Thankfully, given the info, I can then figure out the journal reference myself by doing normal searches.
