All the best to you.

The lack of knowledge of Hamas from the Police is both a blessing and a curse. It shows that they have no idea how many hundreds of thousands, even millions share your views. The Overton Window is breaking the sound barrier as a result, and so things will change.

Today Keir Starmer is admitting that European parties of the Left got things wrong on immigration. I hear echoes of 1980s Communist leaders admitting they got economics wrong under Communism.

The news of your arrest was out last night,so don't worry about disappearing. It made a lot kf people angry.

My guess is it's "strategic ignorance". If, for whatever reason, they started debating the pros and cons of the middle-eastern situation, it could open up a whole can of worms regarding bias, abuse, false arrest and so on. They'll be trained to put on the mask of the stereotype empty-headed plod under the pretence of "without fear or favour".

Seriously, who in their right minds would want to join the force today? Being a copper must be utterly soul-destroying. They surely didn't join up to become glorified social workers and puppets for the woke left. No wonder they're going off sick and resigning in droves.

Pete I'm shocked and scared reading this - being arrested for a tweet, unless it's an obvious incitement to violence or worse, is a frightening development.

We have state-approved protestors out on the streets using 'Palestine' as a lightning rod for something else. Your go at explaining the nature of that 'something else' is as good as anybody's, I've had a bit of drama with the HR department recently but this has made me realise I was worrying about very little. Not nothing, but very little.

Genuinely a lot of us will be worrying about you fella, and hoping this backfires horribly on the people who put you through it. I know you wanted to get out of there but...if it goes further then get yourself a solicitor. You'll be needing one.

You know where I am if you need anything mate, take care.

On the same day starmer anounces ID cards you get dragged off for a tweet, this country has embarked on a dangerous path. This shouldn't be happening to you or any of us.

Good luck, Pete. There will be countless people who will support you if needed, so don’t be afraid to ask.

Pete, as you say spicy Tweets are spicy tweets - but your arrest and "perpetrator walk" is but part of the process.

Without extrapolating too far, maybe your potential day in Court ( if it comes to that) will highlight to a very wide audience the perversity of what has happend to you and is happening to countless others.

Really hope things settle down a bit - this matrix like state we are moving to indicates there are tragically going to be more "Mr Andersen" moments.

As was shouted to Ken Dodd as he was walking to a Liverpool Court for suspected tax evasion ( unproved) " don't let the bu**ers get you down.." - please shout if you decide to start a go-fund-me-defence pot - this behaviour by the state has to be fully exposed fought tooth and nail.

Pete, stay strong.

I have written an article on your arrest, and include a link to your aricle.

I have asked my readers to share and re-stack.

This is extremely serious. I have subscribers in the USA and elsewhere, they need to see what is happening in the UK.

UK: man arrested for posting a "Fuck Hamas" meme

Free speech is largely dead in the UK now.

Outrageous.

Wait to see if the cps charges? How can the cps charge when there is no crime?

As for "tweeting about race"... no reason should be needed to "tweet about race". Race is simply a thing that exists. Can we not talk about something that exists?

This is utter madness, at best, but clearly a symptom of something more sinister.

Doesn't matter, they will keep it hanging over your head for a year or more in the hope you won't sue afterwards because you just want it over with.

Looks like some bonehead lefty prick has taken exception to your prose. Wouldn't be the first time, I guess.

Looks like "lessons have not been learned" from Lucy Connolly's absurd incarceration. Starmer, Hermer & co need to be repeatedly held accountable for this abuse - if denouncing a proscribed terrorist group is "hate speech" then the law has been completely subverted against Britain's interests. Activist judges need to be expelled, as should the senior police figures who have pandered to the whims of our political pygmies.

Maybe Andy Burnham will get to enjoy being humiliated by Donald Trump on the international stage in the near future.

Might be worth forwarding this onto the press, the FSU. BlackBeltBarrister on YouTube might also be able to help.

You'll be OK. Just don't plead guilty under any circumstances.

I second the BlackBeltBarrister suggestion. He seems to have had enough, too, and is working pro bono to help the family of that girl who had her phone taken by police the other day.

(The basis for that, though, was very particular - an allegedly unlawful entry to the premises, which apparently made the seizure of property unlawful as a result. I'm not a lawyer, though, so there might be other undisclosed stuff going on there. Still worth reaching out though, definitely.)

Yes, it's utter madness, as you say, to be arrested for condemning a group of terrorists outlawed by our own government. Presumably, though, the main "offence" was to be less than complimentary about Islam.

Pete, take care of yourself for a few days. I am sure you already are a member but Free Speech Union might be able to help. If I were you I would make it clear now that if you aren’t charged by the CPS then you will be taking legal action. As you say the process is the punishment and that works both ways. I would also do a Subject Access request for all information from the police and CPS. If evidence exists that the police knew this did not meet the charging threshold then it opens up lots of avenues for legal action against plod.

Good point on the SAR. Pete needs to action this today with the Police, Home Office and DoJ. £2 each.

Quite understandably that was a shock to your system but your fight is our fight and I will support you as best I can.

The whole affair is like something out of the Stasi playbook in East Germany and the image that sticks in my mind is the policeman putting on the blue rubber gloves ............................it is simply beyond belief but then so much in Starmer's Britain is.

Each day take some deep breaths and get out in the fresh air for a walk and take your time to think this through and plan the best way forward.

Stay well, Pete.

It does seem that the (seemingly illegitimate) process was the punishment. I've no doubt you'll make them pay handsomely.

Venezuela here we come!

In that benighted country, Armed Police everywhere looking for people who say things they do not like. Gangs roaming the streets (armed too). Very dangerous place to be in indeed. And the (broke) government just stopping any kind of oil and any kind of prosperity. And yes, they have been through mass emigration and mass starvation too.

I wonder will the police continue to obey orders to the letter under a Reform government? Ditto CPS, Judiciary and Civil Service?
