The end for Labour can't come quickly enough. Quite apart from the enormous scandal over Pakistani rapists, how is it that the truly dreadful results re: public borrowing have not been plastered across the front of every newspaper today?
Reeves is an incompetent person and a liar.
Starmer has his head so far up his own fundament that he cannot understand why the population is angry about so many aspects of his 'rule'.
Angela Rayner just makes me laugh, she's so transparently unfit to be an MP, let alone a minister.
Great article and you’re so right on all these points. I’d never thought it through quite as clearly as you regarding gun crime, knife crime, drug crime, terrorism, rape, child sexual depravity all goes away if we deport the many bad ‘uns. And yes the 30 year bonds hitting a 30 year high hasn’t dawned on people yet but it will when Reeves comes back for another “once in a Parliament” series of tax rises. And if, of course, there’s any more freezing weather, Miliband’s lunacy policies will see the national grid fall over and a few thousand pensioners die.
Inquiry nixxed. Private prosecutions required against complicit politicians and law officers. It’s not as though nobody knew these crimes were being committed. Courts should judge those who put political expediency ahead of the welfare of children.
Well 24hours on and our MPs have voted against sn enquiry into the Muslim rape gangs and the people in office who were involved at the time.
I am angry and believe Starmer and many others know am inquiry would illustrate just how much horrific and revealing detail was swept under the carpet, down-played.
That it was done to protect an ethnic group, the Muslim vote for Labour, is the feeling gaining ground.
That Labour MP Naz Shah told the outraged to 'shut up for the sake of diversity' is now very pertinent.
So, no inquiry and I am furious those we elected to serve us aren't doing so.
Nigel Farage stated publicly yesterday that he would raise the funds for a public inquiry if Parliament stopped it happening.
Let's see if he means it.
How we can stop this Labour government wreaking havoc and working against the people is now a real concern.
I do hope you are right. I am not English, except by ancestry, and do not live in England, but my daughter does, and I am waiting for your people to finally stand up. My opinion of the Starmer administration is not fit to write here, but you can guess what it would be. You are doing a splendid job, and I wish you and the Homeland Party all the best.
The UK is reeling from 2 major long term shocks - 1st was the permanent weakening of the economy since 2008. We have never solved the issues of productivity and real wage growth since then. Secondly the Tories only solution was to dump millions of 3rd worlders into the country in a hope that more people leads to economic growth.
We need to solve both asap. We need to reduce the immigrant population. Several easy ways. Stop issuing visas, depot every one whose visa has expired, and criminalise illegals.
Mass remigration is harder but we need to look at it.
Whilst justice for the children raped by the Pakistani child rape gangs is a little closer, what of the police social services and politicians that turned a blind eye.
A starting point of dismissal from work (where the person is not retired) - canceling pension entitlement and removing any honours.
Those who hid criminal activity must attract jail sentences.
If you think Starmer's Labour party have hit rock-bottom, just wait until you see their proposed tone-deaf APPG islamophobia blasphemy law. That will probably be rubber-stamped thanks to their still-huge majority in the HoC.
How many of those officials, police, politicians accepted 'freebies' to look the other way? They must be very worried that some survivors will now feel empowered to come forward and finger them.
We are not going to vote our way out of this until we cancel postal voting. Armed forces and invalids with doctor's certificate only. If you can't be bothered to turn up on the day then your opinion is not worth caring about. Also more security at polling stations - no groups of men trying to help people vote.
I know what you mean about X. I took a break for Easter last year and still haven't bothered returning! A shame really - it was great for shitposting. The only downside - it was great for shitposting; a total time-suck. I'm a little sad as there were a lot of people on there I like.
Still, if they get to writing detailed stuff on Substack, I'll follow them here. I read your work on here, and still read Turbulent Times, pretty much daily.
Talking of which, I was reminded of Richard and his use of the phrase "biff-bam politics" while I read a book over Christmas - called "Amusing Ourselves To Death" by Neil Postman. Written in 1985, it's a real eye-opener. Worth reading, if you haven't already.

And don't get me started on David Lammy ...

Will Starmer hold out for another four years?

Just outstanding. When can we vote for you?
Couple of thoughts.

Happy New Year to you!
Great post. Spot on analysis. Watch the money markets too. Labour is unraveling at an ever increasing pace
Wrong, they are the bottom of the cess pit.
