Good post, Pete, if a bit depressing.

It seems the post-war democratic model is broken. Whether it's being incorrectly operated, has temporarily lapsed into decadence, or is inherently flawed, I don't know. But it's clearly not fit for purpose. We are not electing politicians who are capable of doing their jobs. Worse than that, it is impossible to elect politicians who are capable of doing their jobs.

The generous interpretation would be that they are fundamentally useless. The obvious one is that their hatefulness is calculated and purposeful. This has gone well beyond managed decline; it's active destruction. These people need to be gone, and Lord knows what comes after that.

That the globalists were anti UK was already known.

Calling them left wing was a big mistake which let Parliament off.

It’s not Labour, or Tories, or for that matter Lib Dem’s, Greens or Reform.

It’s Globalists.

Labour are the worst manifestation so far. Lib Dem’s and Greens would reduce the country to chaos slightly faster. Reform a little slower.

But we are in the same deep mire with all of them. They are globalists.

Exactly right . The closest equivalent I can think of to describe the state of Britain today is that of Norway during WWII - a Quisling government shipping in military and civilian population from Germany and extracting product for the benefit of the Fatherland .

The Fabian Society and its partner the Muslim Brotherhood are enemy organisations - they should be removed now . Britons - stand up and resist .

Brilliant essay Pete. Bang on correct on every point. I’d estimate that around 30% of the UK population get it that allowing reckless levels of immigration of incompatible and often dangerous people is a wilful act by governments who do not act on behalf of the people who elected them. If my 30% estimate is correct what the f**k do the other 70% think is going on?

There are still large areas pretty much unaffected by Third World immigration. For example, my village on the Northants side of the Northants/Rutland border has one Zimbabwean family who were already here when I arrived in 2011 and a woman who for years I assumed - because of accent and skin tone - to be a Greek Cypriot, but who turns out to be Iranian, and a few mixed race children with white mothers and Caribbean -judging by surnames - fathers who have stereotypically buggered off. Only when it is too late does the horrible truth dawn on people.

What a read to start the week, Pete but your points are bang on. You look at the weekend's events, the government's wilful blindness to the bleedin obvious and the moronic Irish football team's theatrics against Israel and just despair.

"the outside world... [is] a constituency to be served, the nation has not been reformed. It has been quietly reclassified as territory." 🎯

That is correct Pete. You are witnessing the expansion of the ummah from the Middle East taking over the West. Every Muslim politician is Muslim first - their allegiance is not to the country that welcomes them in, but to the doctrine of Islam. There is no sugar-coating this project. It cannot be reformed nor changed.

The more Muslims are allowed in, the more they can reshape society to reflect the "culture" of the Islamic world - including laws and manners.

Politicians, for a variety of reasons, do not care or share this problem. They are more concerned with power than civilizational preservation.

This is why a coherent political philosophy is the only way forward - someone must take up the banner and revolt. Otherwise, you will see the nation, as you described, fracturing into extremes on both sides and I don't know if anyone actually wins over the other.

Hopefully this makes sense...

It was clear the government had gone rogue back in 2020 when increasingly perverted measures were introduced to combat the alleged pandemic, and fear mongering on a grand scale was whipped up by every institution of the state with no discourse allowed without the brand of ‘conspiracy theorist’ being applied.

Everything happening now is just another battle of that ongoing war on the public.

Let me repeat my post on Turbulent Times ( run by Dr Richard North Pete's father) this morning:-

For my money the problem is a political class who believe showing empathy to 'refugees' is the only acceptable course of action to prevent the label, all politicians fear, of being labelled racist.

Further to their 'suicidal empathy' the Labour party is always deeply mindful that of the 64 constituencies with the largest Muslim communities their MPs represents 57.

In plain and simple terms our country's politics is now so corrupted we no longer have a functioning democracy with is why these reforms are increasingly so essential and our only way out of the crisis we face.

However let me be very clear that the road to our salvation is full of huge potholes that need to be faced and overcome and require political strength and nous as yet not evident in Westminster.

Labour don't seem to understand that sucking up to Muslims and their perceived causes is not going to save the seats in Birmingham and elsewhere that they suspect they might lose at a GE. They will like them anyway.

We are firmly in the territory of sectarian politics

We must become a strictly secular society and not give authority to anyone who may pose a risk of placing their faith in mediaeval superstitions above the needs of the security of the country and its people.

Right, 'cos that's really working out well at the moment.

I don't disagree but the days of 'we must become' are past. We need to rise up and deal with this now. There is no time to lose. I'm old and I'm prepared to go down fighting for my country and my nation.

Unfortunately, promoting self-deportation of Radical Islamists and their families is all that's left as a viable strategy. That is, to use our free-speech rights (or what's left of them) to criticize, deconstruct, and mock Islam which will, it is hoped, lead Radical Islamists (not all Muslims) to repatriate themselves.

Laura Nelson's avatar

These people you describe, by definition, are inspired by conquest not retreat. They will never self-deport.

Allen Z's avatar

We'll find out. Our contention is that the Islamists will not be able to tolerate, emotionally and psychologically, continual criticism of Islam.

The Coercive Acts of 1774. Before that there had been a circling series of oppressions … and reactions against it. Benjamin Franklin was visiting Parliament, and arguing that the reaction of the Colonists was an appeal to the King and the Ruling Elite. Franklin appealed that the Elite act with common sense to real depredations. Edmund Burke argued for the unique character of the Colonists. Instead, the Ruling Elite made a point that these acts were intentionally “Coercive.” They were meant for the cantankerous citizens of Boston. Instead again, all the colonies rightly perceived that à Government -intentionally and openly - bringing coercion and oppression upon any people - that that Government was a tyranny. Things have not changed much. This British Government - the Ruling Elite - has brought tyranny down on its own people, as the Colonists had, once upon a time, thought itself Britain’s people. Tyranny once again burdens its people - this time upon England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The British are born free, but now find themselves living in chains. Edmund Burke once stood against foolish tyranny; he now stands against this tyranny. Benjamin Franklin argued for Reason; instead, he was ridiculed and abused. Despite the vote on Brexit, the Ruling Elite have adopted the values of the EU, the French Revolution appearing in the guise of the reactions against immigration there. So it is with Great Britain, its British character onerously being coerced by the Ruling Elite. The Coercive Acts have been imposed once again against its citizens.

Pete a very funny yet tragic piece.

It highlights the dilemma. The government is stuck between a rock and a hard place.

We are forced by international law to deal with refugees and give asylum to those wishing to apply for it. And that all costs.

In the absence if any other lawful idea then all they are doing is following that process. And that costs.

What we need is a border force who can turn the boats around. But they cost and it may well be in lives as well.

We are forced to take our fare share as our neighbours do. It costs them.

And we are angry because sure we bear those fists it seems. And we are angry because they get preferential treatment. And that fists us and we don’t get that help.

So what are we to do? Short of going to war with France and the EU or letting them drown in the Channel what do we do?

I think you are right to a point.

We need to come out of the ECHR. That’s political. We must stop giving them preferential treatment. And keep them in detention until deported. And if there is a proven case of refugee status or asylum then fine take our share. But it has to be orderly.

But in ending I would look at our economy to be able to cope with our needs to it for everything our government needs.

We need increased spending of money hitherto unused. We all need growth. Growth of incomes of money passed on by those holding it and to increase flow and make it faster.

We are all struggling under the insufficient amount of money being rotated. We have vast sums unspent unused and idle.

It’s this money that we are short of. If it were spent faster then more taxes can be triggered. To give us all more money and crucially our government to do its job properly.

It’s spending that triggers taxes! Even income tax and Nic. It’s the spending if money that triggers all taxes.

We know this because NOT SPENDING gives NO ONWARD movement of money to us and triggers NO TAX. NONE!!!

So that’s how to get growth. That’s how we afford border guards or a pontoon fire the channel or whatever. To stop them.

Get that right and every one if your gripes can be answered with money.

This can all be explained by the existence of a Muslim network in the home office that has 700 members. We wouldn't tolerate a Russian network, a North Korean network or indeed a French network because we know that it's a fifth column perverting the course of the government. It's parasitic and needs to go.
