Oh go on then, Substack it is.
I was a bit sniffy about Substack because the last thing I wanted was yet another admin dashboard to contend with, and writing long-form on X suited my purposes. Until I was arbitrarily banned, that is.
Despite Elon Musk’s free speech crusade, content moderation on X is as bad as it ever was, and the power over what can be said is still in the hands of the left-wing activist mob. As such, if the aim is to have an income from writing, as many have encouraged me to do, it would be foolish to hand them that much power.
With that said, now I actually have to write something. Let’s see how it goes. You can expect more of the same punitry, analysis and insight you’ve seen on X. To get things moving, I may upload some older content over the next few weeks, but this will be a place for original content. Please subscribe, share and spread the word. I’m not in regular employment at the moment, so your support is very much needed if this venture is to be worthwhile.
Though there is is provision for subscriber-only content, I intend to keep most content free on the understanding that subscribers support my political aims.
