If you'd asked me last week I'd have said, objectively but reluctantly, that the Tories are the least worst option for the sole reason that they are capable of forming a halfway functioning interim government until such a time as there is a viable alternative.

I already have one son who is now living outside the UK, and Im trying to encourage my youngest son to do the same. I dont want him dying for something we dont believe in, for a government that actively works against young lads in the Uk.
The last bunch of lads who went to a world war did so believing they were defending their country, only for their great grandkids to be raped or murdered by foreign men with vile ideologies while the state they served did everything they could to cover it up and protect the offenders.
Every single MP and government official - and their cronies - who initiate, support and prolong wars should be the first to occupy the frontline and trenches - in all its gore and inhumanity - and not sat behind a desk! That is one party political manifest that would get my vote.

Our governments reaction to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, starting with the utter 'Oaf' Johnson who shot over there to distract from his troubles at home, has been based on nothing short of total ignorance as to the geopolitical realities of the situation.
Let me remind you that Russia during the 90s was being considered for NATO membership and we have turned them from potential ally and friend with many common interests to an ardent foe while in contrast we treat the more dangerous China with kid gloves.
We seem to have interfered in Ukraine since about 2004, and then with Cameron bleating about extending the EU to the foot of the Urals. You cannot keep poking the bear and expect no reaction. As you say, Johnson dragged us into our current position as a deflection.
The desire to keep this war going forever makes me think that the real idea is to denude Ukraine of its entire young and healthy population so that the BigBoys can move in to plunder the mineral wealth. I hear that women are to be conscripted next. As for Russia, it would make a better ally than enemy.

Where ever he tries to tax he loses support and with the traditional areas of saving, Defence and Benefits, at a critical low or sacrosanct he has no room to make popular decisions.

You must vote such that you inflict maximal harm on the political class, regardless of policy quite frankly. While I remain unconvinced that voting for pathologically destructive policies or endorsing "accelerationism" is the way to go, rebooting the Conservatives after their slow self-destruction is an objectively poor choice.
