Jews are our natural allies in the battle against Islam.
There are anti-Zionist Jews but some of them are so for theological reasons - they think the Messiah should come first before the State of Israel is founded. The others seem confused.
It is a serious error by some on the right to alienate Jews.
Hatred of Jews: the blame MUST be pinned onto Islam itself.
There can be no more obfuscation. No more lies to shield the ideology. The fruits of a false prophet are rotten.
But how do we identify this quarter to a third? Younger Muslims are becoming more militant but if they only have British nationality, how and where do we deport them to?
Radicalisation can happen quickly, as I have directly witnessed years ago. A nominal / secular Muslim friend was radicalised by the Muslim Brotherhood. One week we were friendly, the next he refused to speak to me. Years later I understood why, because the Koran forbids friendship with non-Muslims.
There are 40,000+ on the security services watch list. That would be a good starting point.
Legally it is not straightforward. However the legal precedent has already been made with the ISIS brides.
I think there will be many long and hard fought judicial battles, Reform will need a clear majority to allow it to frame the necessary laws to permit this to go ahead.
We also need to get the agreement of the countries we want to deport people to. Pakistan is still refusing to take back people from one of the first Grooming Gangs, they seem to be using it to gain progress on other matters such as PIA slots at Heathrow and return to them of Pakistani dissidents.
On the ISIS brides issue, certainly for Shamima Begum, we were able to remove her British Nationality because she also had Bangladeshi Nationality through her parents but Bangladesh has refused to allow her entry. In current English law you can’t remove British Nationality if that is all a person holds.
There will be many barriers ahead. Reform will need to list its intended actions in its manifesto to show legitimacy and allow the Salisbury Convention with the Lords to force laws through, assuming the Lords still honour this.
There could be financial incentives to leave, such as relocation grants.
These are difficult thoughts to have.
It is the least bad option that needs to be explored. Time is very rapidly running out.
In addition, there has to be a concerted effort to persuade Muslims to abandon Islam. The conventional way, by conversion to another faith such as Christianity is very ineffective.
A survey was done, by a Muslim, asking the main reasons for doubt. By far the most significant reason for doubt is due to the immorality of Islam. As far as I am aware, there has never been a concerted campaign on that approach.
A bit too much hand-wringing in this article for me. Undoing the wrongs of mass immigration over the last 20 years (even 5 years) is impossible let alone the last 50 years. However, Zia Yusuf has roadmapped a start with the illegals. He’s also said we should deport all foreign criminals. And to remove benefits from foreigners who don’t work. And make becoming British harder by removing ILTR. Short of provoking a civil war I’d say this is a pretty good start.
I agree. Reform is far from ideal as a vehicle for change, but you need to make a start. Zia Yusuf’s plans for remigration, while probably requiring a huge majority in Parliament and even then will be difficult, are indeed within the bounds of possibility if an incoming Reform government can prepare itself adequately over the next few years. If implemented they would probably be accompanied with a sea change in public opinion (and resolve) and the ship of state could begin to alter course. I don’t see any credible alternative to getting behind Reform.
I think you’re dead right Jimmy. Reform aren’t perfect but they’re by far the best with a realistic opportunity of winning power and making change. We can’t afford another hard left government after this one nor a Tory administration filled with LibDems who will change nothing.
Unfortunately I don't believe the robust policies and actions needed to address our largely 'Muslim' problems will occur until the situation has deteriorated much further.
There is no getting away from the fact that our current lot of politicians are simply not up to the job lacking the guts and determination to tackle the problems head on and see off the bleeding heart liberal brigade.
As far as remigration goes, all Muslims would be on my list. We simply cannot live with Islam if we wish to remain a liberal, small conservative, society
"And since there is nothing else in the mix likely to form a government any time soon, it doesn’t really matter if remigration as a concept is mainstreamed."
That is the most depressing part. We are falling apart with no sign of a "coherent National Conservative Party" on the horizon. Anarchy looms.
"thinkers on the right have now understood that our malaise is as much a spiritual crisis as an economic one. It won’t get anywhere because it’s totally insincere..."
Unfortunately, you will mot excise the cancer of Islam with your "sensible nationalism." If your movement prefers being moderate and British abd refusing low-status "American bollocks," then you will be condemned to impotence in the face of the enemy.
There’s a lack of realism amongst those who wont consider compulsory re migration.
Without compulsory mass remigration, the UK population will probably have a Muslim majority within a lifetime.
Voting for a party that doesn’t believe in mass repatriation accepts the end of the UK, Britishness or Christianity.
The government are already getting us used to this idea by stopping jury trials and delaying elections to a time more convenient to them, which is probably never.
< “I don’t see a coherent right wing movement emerging any time soon.” >
Call me of the crackpot right if you will, but:
In my opinion, to be labelled Far Right is to be at variance with social and economic policies of the Government.
And, in that sense, whatever the type of nationalism fragmenting the Far Right, if not the Right, there is a common denominator.
Social and economic policies of the ‘countries’ of The West appear to me to be amazingly similar throughout The West; as if each ‘country’’s government is being orchestrated by a higher authority.
Could the common denominator be the higher authority? It’s amazing how low some people will stoop when incentivised by the prospect of financial (or otherwise) gain!
The Right does have a uniting entity, a common enemy, the common denominator. A common denominator so rich and powerful that neither do I “see a coherent right wing movement emerging any time soon.”
"A conservative in search of a conservative party". An excellent phrase and one which describes me as well.
The Fuentes zoomer fans are just repellent. They offer up destruction but no fruit, nothing positive. They revel in fantasising about unpleasant ends to people they don't like. The majority won't go for that and, besides, apart from making video content and replying to social media posts they are lazy. They cannot translate their over the top rhetoric into action.
I take a simple approach to Ukraine and Israel. Both are within their rights to defend themselves against invaders. Now how much we should support them in their defence is a matter for debate and negotiation but bear in mind what would probably happen if either of them lose and how that would affect us in the UK.
I thought we might have had conservative thought leaders in the UK; those who can carry on the legacy and work of Roger Scruton, for example. At one time I thought James Orr could be such a person but he's fallen in my estimation because of two things: First, his attempts at importing American style National Conservatism into the UK without developing it as a wholly British idea and second, he's become a 100% Reform Loyalist and as such he's just spouting low grade "Reform surge! Join today!" takes on X and bragging about polling numbers. Orr, Goodwin, Heydel-Mankoo and now Emma Trimble have all dumbed down since joining Reform. Even Danny Kruger has abandoned so much of the good parliamentary work he did before his defection. I've come to the conclusion that in order to join Reform you have to lower your IQ by 30 points.

A 2 pronged approach is needed:
1. Deport all those who are pro-jihad. Numerous polls show around a quarter to a third of Muslims in the UK are pro-jihad.
2. A concerted effort to persuade the remainder to leave Islam.

Good questions.

There is no easy answer.

On the practicality, what happens to someone's assets, house, bank accounts etc and their family, wife, children?

On antisemitism.
Unfortunately this word has been massively over used like the word racist has.
But Americans finally calling out the buying up of their political process by donors like Marian Adelson and AIPAC is a positive move.
If more people had addressed this issue decades ago when Patrick Buchanan was talking about it the World be a better place.
The Zi0/ NeoCon agenda has completely destabilised the Middle East and all the West has gained is millions of "refugees".
It is completely possible to have a rational debate on this issue without antisemitism.
On the economics.
Can a nation ever have a Capitalist system that doesn't over time lead to an oligarchy, that then imposes its intrests above the nation?
It's the big money intrests that has been sucking in millions of cheap workers.
Capitalism will never invest in training, robotics, automation or increase pay and conditions if it can just fly in labour.
If the nation state doesn't control international finance capitalism, international finance capitalism will control the nation state.

Your comment fell foul of the Online Censorship Act, although it just speaks very reasonable truth to me (I had to “go to America” to read it).
Do you not see any hope in Rupert Lowe & the Restore movement?
